He’s been good with the female dogs at the kennel and might be reactive to some male dogs. He’s crate trained and may need a refresher on house and leash training. Philbert in Sebastopol, CA – ADOPTED!
Precious Philbert is an active guy who was found wandering the streets of San Francisco (hey, that would be a great name for a TV series!). He’s about 1.5 to 2 years old and weighs about 50lbs. He plays wonderfully with Target; and he’s been respectful of the male dogs at the kennel. Philbert is crate trained and may need a refresher on house and leash training. Pumpkin is sweet as pie! This little 40lb girl found herself homeless on the San Bernardino streets. Thanks to foster moms Antonette and Peggy sponsoring her medical needs, she has had a medical makeover (spay, removals of tumors and dentistry which included teeth cleaning and 13 extractions). This little sweetie-pie is about 6-8 years old. She is good with other dog with careful and slow introductions and on a short-term basis. She is crate, leash and house trained. Guapa’s days of being a mommy are over and it’s now her turn to be pampered like a baby. This sweet and petite 2yo girl weighs about 35-40lbs; and she is a world-class cuddler. She loves to offer up her tummy for rubs. Anyone looking for a mellow lap dog would be very pleased with Guapa. She seems to like male dogs but is selective with the females. Diego in Sacramento, CA – Mini – ADOPTED!
Diego is a very loving 1.5yo Miniature Bull Terrier who entered our program due to housing issues. He is good with other dogs with careful and slow introductions; but he can be selective with the small ones. This little guy is going through basic obedience training in his foster home; he is crate, leash and house trained. Diego is about 35lbs. His PLL (Primary Lens Luxation) status is Clear. Cali is a 9yo girl who is very affectionate and is still quite active. She has a Grade 3/4 heart murmur so we’re not sure if she’ll do well with surgery for her spay and dentistry. Elvin was a stray who arrived with lacerations on his face, body and legs. He has recovered nicely so he is now ready for his forever home. Elvin is a precious guy who is great with most dogs – he is simply indifferent to them. He’s a mellow guy who loves napping and spending time by your time. He’s been wonderful with the resident female Bull Terrier in his foster home. This precious guy is about 4-5 years old and about 45lbs; he is crate, leash and house trained. Rambo in Portland, ORRambo is a sweet little guy who’s a little over a year old. His parents’ work schedules have drastically changed so they are unable to spend a lot of time with him. Rambo has been around children as young as a year old without any problems. He peacefully shared his home with a Frenchie girl. He is good with female dogs and will likely be better with other males once he’s neutered. Rambo is house and leash trained and may need a refresher on crate training. This 7mo muffin was surrendered to the shelter when her owner became homeless. She did wonderfully with the dogs at the shelter as well as the Bull Terriers in her foster home. She loves people and is still all about play, although very rough, and mouthy with lots of jumping and play bows. Sumaya will like be fine with another dog as long as it’s one who’ll be tolerant of her rough play style. She is learning about crates and house training.
