Daisy girl. She has a sad story. She was part of a domestic violence situation. Daisy was in the home the night her owner shot his ex-girlfriend and her daughter before turning the gun on himself. The ex-girlfriend and daughter survived. Poor Daisy was part of an investigation so she had to stay in the shelter for a while until we were able to spring her. She is doing wellin our interim kennel but is in need of TLC and a person to help her PTSD. She is no longer afraid of gunshots, fireworks and M80s, but sirens will make her almost crawl up the wall. This girl needs a bully savvy home where she can relax and heal. Daisy is about 4 years old and about 45lbs. She is will need refreshers in crate, leash and house training. She plays rough with other dogs so we’d like to see her in a home where she’s the only pet, especially during her healing phase. She’s available for foster/foster-to-adopt as she will need to be spayed prior to permanent placement.
