Little Nikita was surrendered to the shelter due to a move. What we saw was a very underweight girl (32lbs) who was unable to put weight on her right leg. She’s about 2 years old and is just the sweetest little bug that you’ll ever meet. She’s a treasure of a youngster who has been a trooper with her hip issue. She loves to nap in the sun and enjoys soaking in all the sights and sounds. One of her favorite pastimes is sitting at the window and watching the trees sway. She is not good with the small dogs but does fine with the medium/large ones that are indifferent to her. Nikita has undergone and has fully recovered from an FHO surgery.  She now weighs about 38 pounds.  This little muffin is crate, house and leash trained.
